Do I need to create a NxSemi.com account to place an order online?

 
 

Yes, a NxSemi.com account is requried to place an order online. As a new customer, you can checkout and create your free NxSemi.com account at the same time. With an account, you'll be able to:

 
 
Shop and check out faster on your next visit
Check your order status online
Obtain a history of items you've purchased
Receive new inventory updates
Retain items in your Cart and Wish List
Set shipping and communication preferences
 
 

To make shopping faster, we save your account billing and shipping address information securely, as well as your preferred communication preferences.

How do I place an order online?

 
  Placing an order on NxSemi.com is quick and easy.  
 


1. Add Items to Your Cart  
      To shop at NxSemi.com, click on the “search inventory” link at the top of each page. Select your desired search criteria then click on the “search” button. From the Search Results page, select the items you wish to purchase by entering the quantity desired. Click the "Add to Cart" button to place the item(s) in your Cart.  
 


2. Login to Account  
      In order to view your Cart, you will be prompted to first login to your account. If you do not have an account at NxSemi.com, you are required to create one to proceed with online checkout.  
 


3. View Entire Cart  
      You do not have to view your entire Cart before you check out, but it's a great place to look over your order. The Cart displays all the items you have selected for purchase and lets you make adjustments. You can adjust the quantity you'd like to buy; move items to and from your Wish List, or remove items from your Cart. It also provides a subtotal -- before any shipping charges and taxes are applied -- for your purchase.  
 


4. Add Items to Your Cart  
      To shop at NxSemi.com, click on the “search inventory” link at the top of each page. Select your desired search criteria then click on the “search” button. From the Search Results page, select the items you wish to purchase by entering the quantity desired. Click the "Add to Cart" button to place the item(s) in your Cart.  
      NOTE: If you do not complete an order, the items you place in your Cart will remain on your account indefinitely until you choose to purchase or remove them. You can come back at anytime, click the Cart link at the top of most pages on the site, and complete your order. Item availability and price is subject to change until an order is confirmed.  
 


5. Enter a Billing and Shipping Address  
      We'll ask you to confirm the billing and shipping address for the order you are placing. To speed up the process, we’ll automatically default to the billing and shipping address on your account.  
 


6. Choose a Payment Method  
     

Here you select your payment method. You may choose to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express), wire transfer, or by invoice in accordance with terms set-up in your preferred customer account. Select the button next to your preferred payment method. Once all information is confirmed on the screen, click "Continue."

NOTE: To complete your online order, we require that all credit card or wire transfer transactions are completed by phone for security purposes. To use this method, please call Customer Service at 1-512-933-1100, 9am-6pm (CST) / Monday-Friday. If we do not receive payment information within two (2) business days of receiving your order, it will be automatically canceled from our system and inventory will be released for sale.

 
 


7. Select Shipping Preferences  
      Here you select your preferred vendor and method of shipment. Choose one of our standard shipping agents by selecting from the drop-down menu, or enter your unique preferred shipper. To charge to your shipping account, enter your account number. If no account number is provided, we will invoice you for shipping charges. Once all shipping information is confirmed, click "Continue."  
 


8. Reviewing and Placing Your Order  
      You're almost done! On the Order Summary page you'll find details of your order, including the amount due and method of payment. Before submitting your order, you have the chance to change any of the shipping or payment information you've entered thus far, or to update your item selections by clicking on the “view order details” link. When you are ready, click "Place Order" to complete the online ordering process.  
 


9. Your Order Number  
      Upon order completion, you will see an order confirmation page, which we encourage you to print and save for your records. This page includes: the time and date of purchase; the total purchase price; and a "Sign Out" button and “Continue Shopping” button. Within 24 hours after this page displays, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order.

How do I place an order by phone?

 
  After You've Ordered Online
To complete your online order, we require that all credit card or wire transfer transactions are completed by phone for security purposes. To use this method, please call Customer Service at 1-512-933-1100, 9am-6pm (CST) / Monday-Friday. If we do not receive payment information within two (2) business days of receiving your order, it will be automatically canceled from our system and inventory will be released for sale.
 
 

Without Ordering Online
If you do not wish to complete an order on our web site, you can still buy from us. Simply email us at parts@nxsemi.com or call Customer Service at 1-512-933-1100, 9am-6pm (CST) / Monday-Friday. Please have your payment information ready, as well as an email address where we can contact you.

Does adding an item to my Cart lock-in the price?

 

Items in your Cart show their current prices. These are identical to those displayed on the product and search pages. However, adding an item to your Cart does not lock in that price. Prices change frequently, so the price you are ultimately charged is the item price at the time you complete your purchase.

How long do I have to provide payment once I've placed an online order?

 

The availability of any item we sell can change from the time that your order is placed until payment receipt is confirmed. Placing an order online guarantees the inventory will remain on hold for two (2) business days to allow for payment processing. If payment is not received within two (2) business days, the inventory will be released for sale. Items will not be shipped until payment is received in full.
